Today: Bunratty Castle and Folk Park ...  Great experience!

 

The castle was built around 1425 and it was inhabited by a powerful family for centuries.

Then it was abandoned for some time and re-inhabited in the 19th century.

The Folk Park around the castle is a recreation of the village people lived in around this last period.

All the castle is full of authentic medieval and late 17th century art, weapons and furniture.

This is the main room, downstairs.  Amazing!
